I need help figuring out what this movie is. ok it's WWII in England. the main character is a young boy. his father is off fighting and he is with his mom and sister. In the beginning his school gets bombed so he and his friend are rummaging through the bombed out houses when a group of young bullies grab him and threaten to shoot him with a bullet they put in a vice and use a nail and hammer as a firing pin. (it's a memorable part of the movie to me) later they go to live with the grandfather who lives on a river in the country. the sisters play string instruments (another memorable part) They make reference to throwing googlies in a cricket match. any help would be nice. and if i spelled something wrong i don't need to know.
