Yeah, I read the story about this. Evidently the director was pissing off the main actors (in that bullshit 'method acting' crapola) to evoke a better performance. But uh, I heart Huckabees ain't gritty nor Shakespere, so WTF?
The method acting story sounds like some damage control spin effect after the fact to me. It looks like the director is just a little whiny punk and when someone critics him he gets all bent out of shape... Of course there is a whole lot cut out of the clip from the looks of it so who knows what could have happened in between edits.
