I saw this movie in a theatre when I was 14. Remember being blown away by the visuals and concept at the time. Wow, can't believe how todays movie making techniques make it seem really cheezy now. The ideas hold up though. Also at the time I thought Michael York was the finest actor on the planet after watching it again I couldn't help thinking of Kirk Douglas. And Jenny Agutter was really big back in the day, she did a movie called, I think, 'Walk About' set in Australia all about aboriginal traditions. Again thanks, it was really neat to see it again. Sue
but isn't posting this entire movie online here kind of illegal, ...and stuff? I recently found an online version of the Warriors, sameplace else. The enitre, full, movie, and stuff! Aren't you guys worried about getting in trouble, posting this entire movie like this??
it was on broadcast TV and I don't remember focusing on the special effects as much as the concept of the movie really disturbed me. Seeing it years later I realized the effects were pretty cheesey but according to hard core sci fi fans and sci fi movie fans who are friends of mine, this is the movie that is the turning point in Sci Fi where the technology jumped and production companies went from 'old school' effects to that of Star Wars.
I'm not sure if that last statement is true but would love to hear from the hardcore Sci Fi folks.
