Yes, I saw it - and no, I wasn't dragged kicking and screaming by some chick, but ya know what? It wasn't too bad. No, it wasn't great, and was hopelessly formulaic, but the running gag of Hugh Grant essentially playing 'other guy from Wham!' worked really, really well.
However, The real let down was the girl who played the Britney/Shakira/Christina role. As young and sexy as she may look, the poor girl just can't act and as result, it actually hurt the movie. She's supposed to be this new age pop diva, but she came across as if she was in a bad x-rated movie...it was that bad. It was disappointing because even though it was a tiny part, it was kinda a key role - and if played well, could have done wonders with a career. I dunno why I'm harping on this so much, I guess I've never seen such terrible acting. I mean, you really gotta work hard to come off as bad as this actress did. But see it nonetheless.
Well you can add, Britney (that's a given), I was never a big fan of Madona either. But of course who can forget the mother of all diva/terrible actresses.... Mariah Carey!!!!
