around 1990 i can remember watching a documentary about the viz comic and it said that an article printed about keith chegwin haveing no talent ruined his tv career,it then showed him walking along a beach wearing an old coat looking for bouncy balls to sell to kids for 20p,i take it this was a joke but the way it was presented made it look realistic,can anyone confirm it was a joke or was keith really so down on his luck?
