Well on this note...
I just have to say Mel Brooks has to be one of the if not the best comedic mind for cinema....
him, Monty Python and maybe the Will Farrell/Ben Stiller group, however they haven't proven themselves as time tested.
Who am I missing?

How about Leslie Neilson? Although my personal favorite movie of his, Dracula: Dead and Loving it, also had Mel Brooks in it.
