How 'The Man In Black' Can Make The Star Wars Prequels Almost Tolerable

Seriously, these 4 four minutes are better than the 7 hours I had to sit through in the theater...

Nostalgia for Star Wars

Totally agree.  That was awesome M.D.  Thanks.

I first saw Star Wars in the theatre.  I think I probably saw it 10 X because every time one of my friends had a birthday we'd go and see it.  We never got bored.  We even collected Star wars bubble gum cards.

Now that I'm 39 . . . well . . . pretty much every line uttered by Han Solo seems trite and hackneyed.  When I was a boyAlec Guiness was totally cool as well & the only person that wasn't cool was Princess Leia because she was a girl and Luke kissed her instead of blasting away some stupid stormtrooper with his phaser; talk about a dumb interlude in an otherwise excellent flick eh.

Princess only got cool when she began laying around half nekkid at Jabba's place . . . I was older by that point.

Kids that see the new ones . . . the ones I think suck . . . probably will remember them as fantastic.  Then 30 years along the line they'll see them for what they were, glorified comic books.

Not ALL that bad

C'mon, what's with all the prequel bashing? Especially if you are going to call the guns 'phasers' (that's STAR TREK).

Man, I've never noticed this, but that song sounds so Emo, I can visualize Cash with his bangs covering his face and wearing skinny black Emo pants. :P

Well if it makes it any less Emo he didn't write it it's a NIN song and it sounds much less Emo, and unintelligeable (sp), when they sing it.

But I mean the guy did wear all black, is it so suprising?
