Here is something I've discovered. If there is NOTHING worth watching on TV, I'll almost always pop in 'Boogie Nights' in the DVD player - that doesn't make me a weirdo, right? RIGHT?!

No. That movie is brilliant. If you popped it in the DVD player so you could watch the last 3 minutes over and over again, then you're weird.

The super-duper special edition is worth it's price in spades for the deleted scenes, particularly the 10 minute wife-beating/car crash scene - and of course the extended version of the in-studio 'you've got the touch'.

Didn't we have this conversation 6 months ago?

Magnolia's just as good, but unfortunately so depressing and lacking in humor to go along with its tragedy that it is not particularly re-watchable.

Punch Drunk Love was just such disappointment and had none of the ambition of those first two.

But maybe this will make up for that....

On second thought, this seems to be missing the humor boat too, but I bet it will be way better than Punch Drunk Love.

Boogie Nights? ... Its gotta get a little old...but no, it doesn't make u weird.

Now, shaving your stache to look like an extra in Boogie Nights.....

I can't ever shut off Boogie Nights. That friggin scene with the firecrackers is awesome and some of the shots are so lonnnng... Like watch the build up to Macy shooting himself-- tis all one piece...
