Hey Todd,

The link doesn't work... I'm assuming it's The Mist???

It actually looks pretty good. For some reason I'll never forget the line in there where the lady freaks out because she wants her "Mushies" - (mushrooms)

King is like that for me. Certain things just are imprinted on my ming - perhaps because I read his stuff at a young impressionable age. Like, for some reason, I'll never forget that the name of the cat in Dead Zone is Speedy Tomato.

I'll vote it's worth a watch... and it looks pretty good, if it stays true to the story I think it should have a pretty good chance.

I always like to read them beforehand. King's last short story-turned-movie "1408" for example, I thought the movie was way better.

I disagree, the short story was awesome and, while the movie was good on its own, it really had the potential to be more like the story, especially the paintings.

There has never been a good movie adaption of a short story. Since the story fills about 45 minutes, at most, the rest is annoying, pumped-up filler that never satisfies.

I bet Stephen King is rolling in his grave.

Are you saying that to be cute? Because Stephen King is alive and it just makes you look like a tard.

I don't know about most people, but I just saw this movie last night and found it to be pretty horrible. The ending was total crap...how about an actual resolution people?!?! No true explanations for anything. The whole story was just lazy. I'm pretty sure I can come up with a better movie.

Steven King is still alive though.

You're thinking Carl Sagan *.
