Has anyone rented/purchased Death Proof or Planet Terror on DVD? Anything worthwhile on them?

'Death Proof' is great! There is a good 1/2 hour of new footage (and believe me it works and makes the film even better) - a few cool extras, the only thing that disappointed me was no commentary track (and since this is supposed to be a 'Special Edition', I don't think we'll ever get one).

We'll get one when they release them both together. Like they should have in the first place.

Don't suppose they come with the fake trailers do they? I'd get the DVD(s) just for those alone.

Nope, those were nixed.

And though I don't know for sure, I read that the burned/tattered film effects were taken out as well.

The best thing you can do with a Grindhouse DVD is smash it with a hammer.

I thought both movies were pretty good.

And I still can't get the creepy thanksgiving trailer out of my mind.
