Awesome!

May 4 2008, 7:29 PM

First I have to say that Iron Man was AWESOME!
I stayed till the end of the credits. Basically what happens is that Starks walks into his house and Samuel L. Jackson is there as Nick Fury (SHIELD - Avengers Initiative). Cool! I only hope that they really do decide to make The Avengers movie.

I would like to say that Odd Todd giving Iron Man 3 cookies is lame! I have been visiting his website now for sometime and even though I find his reviews entertaining I realize that he is pretty hard with on the movies. Makes me wonder if he could do a much better job of filming a lot of these movies that are really good. Movies that a lot of more prestigious critics praise a lot more than he does. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please it almost seems as though he has to go against everything that other people find real cool! But oh well, whatever, most of his reviews would never stop me from going to see a movie that I really want to see!

Enjoyed Iron Man but must agree with Odd todd

I enjoyed Iron Man, but I must agree with Todd that I just did not jump out of my seat and say wow woohoo. I was more disturbed about what happened to Jeff Bridges. Getting old sucks. Very good start to the summer movie season.

Learning Curve

May 5 2008, 10:58 PM

Umm has anyone picked up that it takes a brilliant Stark a serious learning curve to use the iron man suit, but Jeff Bridges character jumps right into the old suit and knows how to use it. Nothing major just a note. Still a fun movie. No Batman but fun.

I suppose 3 cookies is not that bad since you rarely give a movie 5 cookies. So rating on a cookie curve (since 5 cookies is rare) I would say that 4 cookies is like Excellent and 3 most be like Good! 5 cookies for you must be like "Instant Classic"

zero cookies = could be the worst movie ever. throw up.
1 cookie = sucks.
2 cookies = decent try. but totally whatevery.
3 cookies = some really good stuff but its got issues.
4 cookies = totally liked it a whole lot. no real issues.
5 cookies = permanently unturnoffable. love.

I saw it on the big screen...it was worth my 10 bucks

Jon Favreau did a great job... well worth the money on the big screen... Robert John Downey, Jr --- kudos ... never thought he'd pull it off.

Saw it this weekend as well. Decent flick. Todd was right on about R. Downey. Guy is great and funny when he's given the opportunity.
