BTW: I had a PSP and the joystick broke and now it's worthless. I posted about it on this board before. Was really impressed when I first got it, but after a week or two came to the realization that although it did a lot of stuff, it didn't do any of it particularly well.
I'm not a big PSP fan, and would go ahead and save up for the 20 gig PS3 if I were you. But that's just me.
And as far as the God of War game, I did play the original on PS2 which was pretty kick-ass. Haven't played GOW2 yet, but probably will get it sooner or later. I would definitely get through those two before going the PSP route.
that's the one i have, the first god of war game. i really liked it. i got stuck though hiding behind a wall with people shooting arrows at me. i can't figure out how to get up the wall without being shot. i guess i'll buy the strategy guide.
I split my time between my Wii and 360 sometimes I through a little PS2 in there.. but in reality I used to play much more then I do now. This whole Work thing has got me a tad busy... I play alot of Call of Duty 4 though when I can. You may be able to guess my tag on xbox live... maybe.
Dude, I might start stalking you! Don't have call of duty yet. Right now still playing lots of Rock Band, but concentrating more on GTA4. Have been toying with Mass Effect. Not sure if I will continue that one or not.
My brother played Mass effect for a little and didn't like it, but he's not a good judge. I was thinking of trying it out but I just can't get away from CoD4... If you want my tag on xbox live is the same as my log in here Thatturkishguy if you ever see me on give me a holler. It's either me or my brother.
I'm not sure I"m going to pick up Mass Effect. I haven't played it in about a week, and I'm having trouble figuring out how it got all those 9 out of 10, and 10 out of 10 reviews.
Yeah I've gravitated to the more pick up and play games these days. But I'm just waiting for something to really suck me in and make me want to play it. Maybe Mass Effect maybe Bioshock maybe something I don't know yet. But I'm still looking, just bought Crackdown for like 10 bucks and had fun with that for a while. I think the next game I may try will be spore. It just too damn cool to pass up.
I'm pretty much putting an hour or so in a night with GTA4 right now, and satisfied. I did finish Bioshock. Their supposed to be making a movie out of it directed by Gore Verbiski
Good game. The Ayn Rand angle makes it feel a lot smarter than your average game.
It looks like most of us on the boards are on the Xbox - plus, it's cheaper!
Personally I like the Wii quite a bit, but you're just not going to get the online play or content with it but I think it is quite a good value for its price. I kinda think of the Wii as its own little thing outside of the other 2 systems since it is so unique. But between the other two - I'm all Xbox 360. (Just for the record, in the last gen systems I definitely was PS2 over Xbox.)
I'd agree I usually play games to play with other people single player games just hold my attention like they used to. So I'd say XBox if you don't mind playing with people online, Wii if you like making a fool out of yourself with at least 3 other people in the room. If you plan on throwing drunken parties the Wii is the best, if you just kinda want to relax with one or two other friends and a faceless online horde I'd suggest the XBox. If you want a blu ray player get the PS3 but I'm not sold on that yet.
