Ever heard of this trilogy?
Really thought long and hard before making this post as I feel sullied.
Actually watched it - sorta - while I was working so I got the basic idea. Not very good at all, but one of a kind and very, very sick shit. I guess it gets my vote for the hardest core movie of all time. Evidentally, Charlie Sheen called the MPAA thinking it was a real snuff film.
It is currently available on google video if you wanna do a search for it.

The main reason for the post however is this user-review from the IMDB that really got me thinking about, of all things, the nature of the internet.

If you have found this post, or the review for the movie, then you are probably like me: curious, fearless in your film viewing. Think again before you watch this. I have made several posts concerning the nature of the internet and it's ability to introduce one to much harder fare than one might have encountered in the past. Take porn- once upon a time, a person would have had to traverse dank, stinky alleys to hidden places that sold the porn available these days within 2 mouse clicks if you want it, and 4 if you don't. Same with movies like "Mordum"- in the past, you would have had to gone to great lengths just to HEAR about a movie like this, much less see it. It took me less than 24 hours to go from: looking at a review of "Hostel", to downloading and watching "Irreversible" (discussed and recommended in the reviews for "Hostel"), to downloading and watching "Mordum". I though I was tough. I thought I was hard. I was wrong. A lot has been said about the final scene. The sex is not the bad part; besides, if i'm not mistaken, he is having sex with someone ON TOP of the very young child, perhaps it's mother. (Again, I may be wrong, but am sure as hell not going to watch this again to check.) The part that got me was the girl killer's line:" Now you won't have to worry about growing up!". This movie made me feel dirty, sad, and generally lousy. 24 hours after watching, I still feel bad. I feel like a bad person for watching, and am ashamed to talk to anyone about it. It wasn't scary, it wasn't exciting or thought provoking, it was just mean and sad and sick and pointless. I read reviews on other sites that would have warned me of this had i read them before viewing. Whoops. Yes, I can see how, technically, this is an amazing film. It is not real, and yet if the credits had not run at the end, no one could convince me of this. That does not mean that it should be watched or even BE. Some things are just wrong. Wrong to think about, wrong to imagine, wrong to act out, wrong to film. Don't give me any of that "freedom" nonsense, either. This is not artistic expression. This is porn, and Maggot getting bathed in blood at the end is the money shot. It doesn't matter what I say, you will probably watch this, because it is in your nature to be curious and fearless. Don't let viewing this movie stop you from being that way. All I'm saying is, plan to call in sick to work the next day.
