So you're going to SXSW? My buddy was trying to get a movie in there but couldn't get it wrapped up in time (I think he changes his mind about what festival he's going for alot)
And I saw this flick today. By far the lowest laugh quotient from "those guys" but its still a good movie. Just don't go in expecting the hard edgy raunchy comedy you've come to expect from Knocked Up, Sara Marshall, etc etc.
So how does that work. Is there like a music half and a movie half type deal? I always wondered how these festivals worked. I guess you'd need to have a pretty quite environment to enjoy a movie so those have to be isolated in some way.
I've never gone for the flicks but they are closed screenings. It's not like its some open air enviornment. It's the same as watching in a theater. As for the music, you get a wrist band that gets you into all the SXSW acts, and free entry to several surrounding participating venues.
