How jaded have we become that 10 years ago a special effects laden trailer like this would have been a must see. Now its all so taken for granted its 'ho-hum - the August release date is all I needed to see to make my judgment...'
My buddy and I were watching the trailer basically frame by frame to see all the crappy special effects, and there were loads of terriblocity to behold. When the robot guy crashes through the bus window, if you slow it down and look at his face it's pretty good for a chuckle. Also when the guy is leaning out of the helicopter window and shooting a mini gun it looks like he was put there using one of those fisher price green screen tools. Pretty bad stuff, lets just hope they kept the awesome dialogue

This looks terrible. I've only seen one Dennis Quaid movie I've ever liked (In Good Company) and he's been in some of the worst movies I've ever seen (Day After Tomorrow, American Dreamz).
