I have not been this excited about a Horror movie in a long time. Directed by Raimi, this should be excellent. Already getting 90+ at RT, but could, of course change. Raimi directed two other movies I have become fond with, Darkman, and Evil Dead. This Movie looks win-win! what about you guys? Think it'll make the grade?
I'm going to see it, but I see everything. The 90% on RT will probably hold as it already has 70something reviews last I checked. I don't really have any fond memories of Rami though. I hate Spiderman 1/2 and don't like Evil Dead, so we'll see.
It's going to take me a week to see this one. Have an ol friend that watched evil deads with me over and over back in the day so gotta wait til a week from today when he's in the city.
Just got back from it. I have to say I was quite Impressed. This movie was worth it. It had everything, Great Music, Comedic Elements ala Army of Darkness, and a great flowing plot. I jumped, Laughed, and enjoyed myself. Yes, PG-13, we cannot have too much of everything, but it had enough. I recommend it!
Was supposed to go last night with my Resident Teenager - but she ended up getting food poisoning from some leftovers her mom recommended that she NOT eat and that she ate anyway.
