Where the Wild Things Are

Not for kids not for kids not for kids.

It's artsy. It is often slow. It's often dark. The kids in my theater were totally annoyingly stir crazy from boredom, or scared and crying.

That said, it's a pretty good flick. Well done, often technically impressive, but not something I need to see again.

I enjoyed this movie also. My only question thru the entire movie was are those costumes or digital magic. Its a movie about imagination and I do not think we have any imagination anymore. All kids want are explosions, fast paced toons, and 3D crap.

The creatures were people in suits, but their facial animations were dititally added later.
