Just saw Hereafter. Wonderful. Like a good book, I didn't want it to end.

Anyone else seen it yet?

It's next on my list.

So tempted to see this but Paranormal 2 is calling out...

You didn't care for the first Paranormal and there's no way it's going to be as good as the first, and at the very best it'll just be a shot for shot retread of the original. Take a chance on Hereafter since you are guaranteed a 2.5 cookie movie, at BEST, with PA2.

Just got back from Paranormal 2.

Hey Dante, the kid liked it a lot!

Me? I knew I would see it cuz I just dig ghost movies, but pretty much the load was shot in the first. However, I will say the way the connected it to the first movie was decent.

The theatre I was in was pretty responsive to it which made it fun. Lots of 'oh shits' and so on - but whereas I was actually into the first one, this one felt very been there, done that.

Saw Hereafter. Beautiful movie. Loved it.

Can't get this movie out of my head. The scene with Damon and the little boy at the end is one of the best all year.

Glad to hear you say that. I liked it a lot and thought abuot it afterward as well and then I heard my manager saw it and has been telling everyone how much she hated it.

I think I need to talk to her and get the details on this.

I could see how someone wouldn't like it, or maybe they went into it expecting something different.

For a Matt Damon movie...he's only in it for about a third of the run time. Another third of it is entirely sub titled.

For someone expecting something exciting or spooky, it's neither. It's a very slow, dileberately paced, dialogue driven drama.

Still an excellent movie. I feel like a lot of people are missing out on this one.
