Thanks again !!!

A Huge Thank you again to Ami and Gwen for pulling off a lovely Reunion.
All that hard work....Incredible.
Thanks from both Ron and I. We had such a great time seeing folks.
I still think I only recognized about 25% of our Graduating class. 20 years is such a long time. We really should post "Then and Now" pics somewhere. LOL
We have scheduled the RHS class of 1989 - 20 year class reunion for the weekend of July 24th and 25th. Mark your calendars NOW so you will be able to attend. Please e-mail me with your current address, phone and e-mail so we can keep you up to date with future information. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Hello everyone, I am trying to get a list of contact information together for everyone that graduated in 1989. If you could please e-mail me, it would be appreciated.
Just checking on the 20 year Reunion schedule. Living in Springfield, MO working at Paul Mueller Co. for almost 10 years and love it. Have a 7 year old that just started 2nd Grade.
Just wondering about the 20 year reunion. I missed the 10 year, and would like to see everyone again. Its gonna be here before we know it. Man its been along time. Hard to believe isnt it?
Hi! My Mom just recently moved back to Rolla, and she was wondering if I was planning on attending the 20 year reunion next Summer. Does anyone have potential dates or anything for it? I live in Washington State now, so I'm going to have to do some planning to make it happen.....Any info would be great. Hope everyone is happy and healthy! Lara

Hi everyone! I'm still around although I haven't visited the message board since last October. Things are going fine for me. Still teaching music, k-12 (band) and really enjoying it. The k-2 is actually my favorite part. For those of you who have little kids...don't let them become 6th graders!
Hey everyone.
I know there's lots of groupies who need to know more about me. My wife, Jill, and I live about 20 minutes south of Saint Louis with our two daughters. I'm selling drugs. My wife's administering education.
Hope you all are doing well.
Hi Everyone - Not sure if any of you remember me (David Ardayfio) but I went to school with quite a number of you ((based on the messages I see posted) from 1981-1985. If my family remained in Rolla, I would be a 1989 Rolla High graduate. Anyway, I am now in Washington, DC with my wife, Nyaneba and two children Imani and Micah. If possible, I hope to make it to the 20th reunion. My contact is dardayfi@lehman.com.
Hey everyone! Shocking that I just decided to see if there was a site. I find it hard to admit that it's been 20 years when it feels like it was yesterday. Hmm, a true sign of "old age" setting in. I'm in St. Louis now and do get home quite often. Looking forward to "bumping" into everyone.
Hoping life is treating all of you well and that you're finding your bliss. Ron and I are still in Rolla with our kiddos,We've got four total and the oldest is 16.
It took almost a year of badgering but I finally got Ron to agree to put up a "Myspace" I KNOW! Unbelievable huh? But it's true. So we both have myspace's now. Also, being the incredible computer geek that I am, I've become a videoblogger. As a Matter of fact, I should be uploading a video right now for vlogging week 2008 but I wanted to just drop a note by the site to say a fond hello from both of us.
June is our 17th wedding anniversary 18 years together. We're still disgustingly in love LOL and not a bit ashamed to admit it. Ron looks like a Hell's Angel at the moment: Full Beard and shoulder length hair, but he keeps the beard off his cheeks so I can still see his adorable dimples. Guess that's as much of a compromise as I'm gonna get since he's so attached to the beard.
Please feel free to find us on myspace or email us if you'd like to keep in touch. We'd love to hear what everyone is up to in their own lives.
Best and God Bless,
Lisa and Ron
PS: TO ANYONE LOCAL WHO LIKES BLUEGRASS: There's a really good bluegrass band playing at Tater Patch This Friday/Saturday. If you enjoy that kind of music, make sure to stop in and enjoy them.
Nice to see that folks are checking this site out!
I have been in contact with some of you, please encourage the use of this site, as the the BIG 20 reunion will be here before we know it and even if we cant all go back, this is a great place to begin making contact. Thanks to Kurt for starting it!
Can you believe this almost 20 years! Well I am married to Squeak aka Bryan Southard class of 86. I have three children all boys one who is now 18! Crazy huh. Glad they are nothing like I was in school. Anyway.....leaving a post and feel free to write me anytime. Rock On!
Alright folks, from several personal messages, I know that some of you secretly view this site but never post a comment, lets get with it, 20 years will be here before we know it. We need to begin the finding those brave young souls who ventured out of Rolla and are needing to be found. (those of you who choose to remain lost.... have fun with that, let me know how it is working for you) We are, for the most part, adults, aren't any of you curious as to what our classmates are up to, who had the ugly children, who has had 18 bad relationships, and who is no longer the same gender as in 1989? If you are out there, speak up!
Don't know why I am just now coming across this site but it was great to read the postings. Even from 1999 ~ hey Jill! Just attended Bill's 20 year reunion and a great time was had by all. Class of 87 can still party like no others! I am really looking forward to the 20 year reunion for class fo 89. I would love to help out in any way.
We are still in the Rolla area. Have 2 boys, Brandon (age 19 and was just married 07/07/07 @7:07 pm) and Brock (age 17 and still knows everything) and my new daughter-in-law Sarah. We never left the area, sure thought about it plenty though!
Please drop me an email, would love to hear from anybody out there! And again, I would love to help with the 20th reunion!!!
I was wondering if James, Amy and I were to only ones left!
Amy and I visited last year, and discussed the 20 year reunion. I have since lost contact info for her, which stinks as she was voted the chairperson! I would love to try to get in touch with everyone we can.
If you are in contact with anyone please turn them on to this site and lets see what we can do. AND, just in case any of you other folks actually view this site, please speak up!
Things have been ok for me. I've been teaching now for 13 years but am only somewhat happy with the job. The kids are great and obviously working in music is great, but I can live without some of the other parts. How are things going for you?
Wow, 13 years in education? Good for you. Where and what have been teaching?
Life has been good. Currently in NW Colorado. Still with my high school sweetie and we have one son, Arik who is 14. It is nice to see some participation here!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I occasionally knew that here existed network54.com. It is a great site for some people who would like to seek missing people. Why not try www.seekingmydear.110mb.com ? It may provide another way for you to look for people. Good luck!
All the best,
Tennis Bum / TB
...and they are addicted like a mofo, people lose their mind to the stuff and can't think straight... they'll steal from their mom, rip off a friend, and use it in the same house as kids.. it's scary
After the last week in Mo... I am not sure if I would be brave enough to attend the 20 gathering at a place called Tater Patch... how about a nice float trip... down a REAL river?
I know it's a few years away, but volunteer's and ideas are needed to start planning the 20 year reunion for the CLASS OF '89. Wow! That's scary. And what's even scarier is that my son will be graduating high school in 2009 the year we celebrate our 20. I work for the school district now so I should have some in's on addresses ect.
We think we need to start renewing some contacts, old friends and such, and start networking. Lets see how many folks we can get to touch base here and go from there. Just looking over the last few years worth of messaging shows that some of us have really flown the coop, and some of us may know info and whereabouts of friends who either dont know of this board or just lost contact with the most wonderful graduating class ever, RHS class of 1989...
oh God,,,,,that makes us old.....er
Hey great to see someone else actually checks this out! What the hell happened to group participation? Oh yeah, Nevermind... this was the class of 89. We are all still planning on the Big Bruno's Reunion in 09
right? HA!
We had to go back unexpectedly, stopped by Brunos to relax a bit... oh my, have we been gone for a long time. Just wasn't quite the same. darn we had to have another drink to get over the shock... perhaps that is thier evil little plan?
Hello! Living in St.Louis, work for Bank of America. Life is good. My daughter carmen is living in rolla with her dad and is a sophmore this year! she just turned 17! Would like to hear from everyone. Recently found, lamont coleman, david stickley, beth dare, dina gaddy, on myspace. Hello to Heather Jones - I miss you and Angie Eyeberg too.
I doubt anybody checks this page anymore...I stumbled on it just by goofing around. Well if anybody does read this feel free to e-mail me. I missed the reunion because it was the same week our daughter was born...can't drive 4 hours when you are expecting!!! Hopefully we will be having a 20th reunion someday...wow it's not that far off!!!
would love to hear from anyone. i didn't get to go to the reunion and would love to know if we are going to have one for the 15th. can you believe that? write me. dana
Congrats to everyone having babies!! I do keep up with this board occasionally although it has slowed down considerably as of late. It is really fun to see all of these familiar names on here and to see what great things all of you are doing with your lives. I would really enjoy seeing an update on where everyone is living. Tammy and I are still living in Springfield, MO. We just bought a house and I've been really busy painting and landscaping. Everyone take care and lets keep this information source alive.
What have you been up to? I hope your reunion was great - ours was a blast, and it doesn't seem like our 15-year is that far off - ACK!!! Drop me a line sometime (that goes for anyone else who remembers me too!).
I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I figured I'd drop a line to say "hi." We just moved from Springfield, MO not quite two years ago and are living in Texas now. Small world, huh? Guess I'll go for now. Take care.
My wife Lisa and I had a baby girl in July; seeing all you happy families in October was enough for us to get our family started.
What have we done?!?! :-)
yes it's late, but Happy New year to all. Congrats Lisa and Ron on the new addition.I now have an address that I check every day religiously so feel free to say hi.
Marcy
Ron and I had the Baby on December 10, at 5:42 a.m. It's a girl, She weighed: 7lb. 2 oz. and was 18 inches long.
We named her: Alia Marylyn
Alia is Choctaw (Ron's ancestors)
Meaning: Youngest
She was born with flaming red hair unlike her sisters and brother who were all light blond, so I can only assume the poor dear will end up looking like her Irish Mother... Sigh so much for a dark haired hazel eyed child...Alia was my last opportunity. LOL
Wow,
Sounds like the plans are flyin!! I would love to try and make it to the Jam, what a cool idea. Lex, As for bringing my guitar, After hearing your man play... I'd be ashamed to crack my case *sigh* Not to mention, I doubt seriously that I would "Fit in" musically... I'll sing my little lungs out if someone will let me, but my guitar skills are more along the lines of my Celtic Roots.. Lots of Irish stuff, and silly stuff. I know a lot of 70's rock, but I'm wayyyy out of practice.
Hello who ever is reading this...the weekend before Thanksgiving, Saturday November 20th, to be exact, my hard rock blues band PBSOD-The Artist Formally known as Horehound, will be playing at Bonydaddy's (two doors down from Jimmy's) in Rolla. Also, Rolla's own Slick Kitty, (with Adam Arendt on bass), will be there too. Please come out and see these two fabulous bands that contain RHS Alumni. After sets by these bands the proceedings will turn into a "jam," which will feature other RHS legends such as Chris Southern...
p.s. Blues You Can Use fans should note that Slick Kitty's drummer is actually the guitar player, Russell, from BYCU!
I had the pleasure of hearing Slick Kitty this weekend. Adam was really good! As was the rest of the band. Should be a fun time. Come one, come all.....Hey Lisa, you up to bringing your guitar?
Hey everyone! At the reunion, I was talking to some people and they were saying on the Friday after Thanksgiving, whoever is in Rolla should meet at Jimmy's or somewhere to get together. Anyone else up for something like that? Or perhaps I could get to hear the much talked about BYCU band, Lexie? Post some messages!!
Sounds like a great idea to me! The boys are going to be playing on 11/13/99 at Brunos, but may be
persuaded to play again. Depends on the guys
holiday schedules. Let's wait and see what kind of a demand there will be....But I think another get together is a great idea!!!!!
Well,
I don't mind starting on compiling the info, in my spare time, if you've no complaints? I do have some experience with
HTML coding as well. If you like, I could archive the info as time allows, code it onto a dummy page, and email you the
URL so you can decide if it works for you or not?
Let me know what you think.
Lisa Ours
Well,
I'll get crackin on that then as soon as I can. I actually enjoy doing this sort of stuff *Chuckle* I guess Ron is right, I am a Huge Computer Geek!!
Oh, F.Y.I. the baby is doing fine, the Due date is still dec. 6th, and other than feeling horrid back aches... I'm doin great *L*
thanks again from all of us! Tell Ron that the best cure for backaches during pregnancy is chocolate and lack of housework.........Flowers help also......tee he he
Well, It's almost time. I have to say, I'm actually getting jazzed up about this thing. Looks like Ron and I will be showing up to the Official reunion so I hope to see you all there. I'm still curious how many of us will show that didn't post anything here. Are there truly so few Computer Geeks like myself out there? *Chuckle*
See you all Saturday!!!
Your young ones are letting you out?????? YA HOO!!
I am kind of wondering where everyone is also.
Kind of creepy to think that WE ended up playing
with computers, huh? see ya in a few!!!
Lex,
YEAH!! Apparantly the kids got together and had another conference (They do that a lot) and decided it's not fair that mommy and daddy get no fun at all, so their allowing us to kick up our heels a little after all. Aren't they just soooo sweet? *Smirk*.
Creepie isn't what I was thinking *Chuckle* I was thinking more like... Pathetic, having no life, Too much time on our hands (or not enough and just not knowing how the heck to relax?) *LOL* Ah well, Let's stick with creepie, I'm depressing myself.
Light,
Lisa
Hey Lisa,Ron,and Tribe
Glad to see everything is going well for you, I'm still here in Springfield, with my brood. I'm really psyched about this weekend, I can't wait to see you, I didn't realize just how much I missed everyone until I started reading everyones messages, 10 years, It can't be that long, I don't feel that OLD!!! but my kids tell me I am. Isn't that sweet of them, give ol' Mom a reality check once in a while. Hey- gotta run but I'll be back after work to see if you have responded.
Peace,
Marcy
Hey there! Who's there? Someone talk to me!!!
I'm lookin for a place to stay Saturday Night after the party, Is there a motel that everyone is booking? Hey someone let me know, I miss YOU, can't wait to see YOU! Where's Paula Shults, if anyone knows let me know. Bye!! see ya Saturday!
Hi Marcy. About the lodging, I imagine it's everyman (or WOman) for themselves. Paula is married now, and I believe she has one little one.
(boy?) see you this weekend.
Thanks for letting me know, I'm glad to see everyone is happy and has kiddies, mine is 9 and the soon-to-be stepson is 14. I still however live in the dark ages, I come to the library to get on line and see if anyone is sending me messages, so I do believe I'm investing in a computer so I can keep up with all rowdy pals (he,he) I feel like I'm passing notes in class, kinda nostalgic. but anyway I have to run, gotta go to work, but I'll be back after work to see if there's anything new.
Marcy
Hope to see everyone at the reunion. We're still living in Rolla...working at the hospital. Been married for 6 1/2 years now, and have two young boys...can't wait to catch up with everyone. Don't have much on our website, but you can see pictures of the boys if nothing else! See you soon!

How you doing KC? Great to hear from you. Haven't heard your name in a while. I can still remember hangin out at your place tinkering with the RC toys when we were kids. That was only, what, 18 years ago? Glad to see you're doing well, Mr. family man. Take it easy.
Kenny

Not as often as I would like. It is a small world. He is still there with his wife and 2 beautiful kids....who of course look just like their favorite aunt! Can't wait to see you!!
We are gonna have so much fun!! I'll see you soon!!!
Hey everyone! I've been reading the messages for a couple days now and, feeling like a voyeur, I thought it was time I posted a message. I am living in Manhatten, The Big Apple, with my husband and two Weimaraners, Abby and Eli. We live on the Upper West Side, 73rd and Columbus, 1 block west of Central Park. I am working as a personal trainer at Equinox, as well as training private clients in their homes, (which is where you can make the big bucks). Brief 10 year history, graduated from UMC, studied in Oahu, Hawaii for a year, did my internship in St. Thomas, USVI, moved to Florida, moved to New York City, moved to Connecticut and now back to New York. I've been married for 2 years now, (met him on a blind date!), but unfortunately, John will not be able to make it to the reunion. He is a pilot for United and will start 767 school in Colorado on the 9th. So, I will be all by my little ol' lonesome. Trying to get in touch with Pam Wiley, but she moves around about as much as I do. Does anyone know where she is now? Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
Hi, Nina. Glad to hear that you are well. Sounds like you've had an exciting 10 years. We still haven't gotten out of Columbia, MO. There is a possibility of a move in the very near future though. Haven't seen hide nor hair of Pam in 10 years. I hope to see her at the reunion though and hope to see you, too!
Like this is a big shock. I think I was late to just about everything in High School, so why should this be any different?
I just did a quick run down the message list. Wow. 10 years is a long time.
Well, don't know who is listening, but I've been married for seven years now, have a devilish little 1 1/2 year old daughter and am living in St. Louis. You can see really old pictures of my daughter at http://www.geeks.com/~sedwards. More family pictures will be going up as soon as I get my scanner hooked back up.
I'm really looking forward to seeing y'all next week. Should be a blast.
how dare you call that sweet little girl devilish?
I have inside info that she is a sweetie. Hey
aren't we sharing babysitter for the BIG night?
tell Becky hi for me!!!!
Your daughter is just precious. I love the pix and the sayings. I hope everyone brings thier children to the park Saturday afternoon so we can all laugh and relate to experiences. I might as well warn everyone...my son is a hellcat (of course, I would never want him to change a bit :).
If anyone knows how to get in touch with Scott, please let me know. The last Scott sighting that I know of was in Columbia sometime in 1997, but I haven't seen him for probably 8 years. Let me know...........
Cheers,
Kenny
Hey Kenny this is Kenny. Scott is still in Columbia. I used to see him about every other week or so. I can probably still get in touch with him. I told him he was on the reunion list of people that couldn't be found and he said he was going to respond and be at the reunion. I haven't seen him in about a month, so I don't know what his plans are now. When I talk to him next I'll tell him to contact you. If there is any info I need to give him to contact you just email me and let me know.
for Paul McConell and Lisa Woodard's wedding at the beginning of September. I'm pretty sure he is going to the reunion. Email me and I'll give you his email address.
This is a great way to find lost people...we've wondered where you were. Give us (me, Jeremy, Geoff W., Matt H.) a call before reunion weekend: 760-722-1377.
Your right this is a great way to track people down. So, how is everyone. I heard though the grapevine that we have added someone new to the family. I'll try to call, but if it's getting close to the weekend and you haven't heard from me here's my number(573-875-2180).
