Is there any natural type treatment for an 8wk old hamster with wet tail? I'm giving him pedialyte in his water bottle and am using the over the counter product "dry tail" but I've been told it doesn't work. My 7yo daughter just got this hamster on Sunday eve and she doesn't want to take it back to the pet store and I can't say I blame her. The vets want $35 just to walk in the door!
