Response to vaccination decisions

Dear Teddy

Petroglyphs Magazine (Spring 2002, p. 10) has an article on the subject. You might be able to access it online at www.PETroglyphsNM.org.

Basically, it is an ongoing debate amongst traditional vets, holistic vets and the like.

Because your pup is very young, you might need to do the shots initially.

www.avma.org.vafstf/ is a website for a task force of feline pet care (sarcoma) pratitioners. perhaps you could find a link there relating to canine.

also: Don Hamilton, DVM, author Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs

personally, I prefer to be quite selective about vaccinating my animal. if required for legal reasons, yes, otherwise, because she is carefully kept, I really see no need for it, and quite a bit of toxic effect in it. it is far better to generally build up the dog's immune system by feeding it a high grade of natural (nor additives or preservatives) dog food, with as much organic raw or steamed veggies, org. brown rice as possible.

I am also getting good results with a product called Nu-Pet Plus by Ark Naturals. It contains spirulina, and it seems to do my pet good. (941-592-9388--phone no. No website listed, avail at health food stores).

Good luck.
