About 9 months ago we adopted a beagle-mix dog about 3 1/2 years old from a shelter. About once a week he eats grass with the sole purpose of making himself vomit. He never seems to vomit food. For about 24 hours he is very lethargic and does not eat. Once he vomits he is extremely frisky and playful. We thought it was food. We have changed his food many times with no results. Right now he is on Venison as the vet suggested a protein allergy. I wean him off one food onto the next so right now he is not on strickly venison but will be in a few days. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
