My cat has some type of infection in two paws (rt front and right back paw (base of paws) (I say infection cause I don't know what it is or what else to call it). He's been going to the vet since June 10.The vets don't know what it is either. The cat is on antibiotics (in case it's bacterial) and I soak his paws in iodine (can only do a minute at a time once a day is all he'll tolerate)once a day (in case it's fungal) Now all paws are affected and he now has an open sore on top right front paw. He still eats well and is relatively active--but--. He is an indoor cat, uses only wheat litter, and is on a good diet (fresh food made by me or Petguard or Wysong canned w/ some dry). Anybody got any ideas? I don't know if he's allergic to something or if this is some kind of "disease" or "infection" or what. Vet doesn't know either. Any ideas would be appreciated. |
