My seven year old poodle has a very rapid onset of hindquarter muscle atrophy and weakness. He has very glassy eyes and is losing weight despite being on steroids. His x-rays showed no hip dysplasia, however did show some arthritis in spine. I think this arthritic condition has been their for a while and has some but not all correlation to his condition. His labworks show low pottasium and low alk phos.with very low phosphorus. high BAND high MONO and high NUCLEATED RBC's The Vet doesn't have a clue! Please help!
