I'm looking for information to help my basset hound who seems to suffer from this problem. I found this website (http://thelabradorclub.com/cold.htm) but wondered if anyone was familiar with this ailment. The website indicated it could be caused by strenuous activity (sporting dogs mostly) or cold water baths - neither activity fitting my hound. Bubbles' tail (the last 2/3 of it) hangs down rather than curving up like normal. At first I thought it was broken or she'd been bit (spider?) but there was no swelling and no soreness. The first time this happened, it cleared up by itself in a couple of days. It happened again today and I have her on doggie aspirin. She has no trouble wagging her tail (a lot!) and she has no trouble moving around. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Susan
