Elevated Kidney Values Due to Enlarged Prostate

My 10 year old terrier mix has very elevated kidney values. The prostate was so large it was pressing on the bladder, preventing normal urination. Now the kidneys are in distress. Would the spirulina work to reduce the kidney values in this case?
He is in the hospital now on IV, not eating because the prostate is pressing on his stomach as well. We can't operate until the kidney values decline. Any advice?????
