My 4 1/2 yr old neutered male dobe is having recurrent problems with Demodex. He broke with it at the age of 2 with a terrible generalized case. I believe it took at least 12 dips and 2 months on oral Ivomec to get it under control. Since then, it has come back twice. The other day, I noticed lesions coming up between his toes, his eyebrow, and aroundhis lips again. I dipped him once, but he reacts to the Mitaban so badly, I would like to avoid that if at all possible. He also does relatively poorly on daily oral Ivomec. Any herbal suggestions? Thanks.
