I too have a kitty diagnosed with Chylothorax. We suspect that there may be a tumour in his chest, but are trying antibiotics in case it is actually an abcess or a cyst. He is a large Ragdoll cat (5 years old) with a prior history of Calicivirus, which apparently is unrelated. Please let me know if you find out anything about the protein supplement. We are starting Rutin and have changed his diet to Wellness light (8% fat). I'm worried about any more weight loss as he is normally about 20 pounds and is now down to 13 pounds.
