My 3 yr old chihuahua has had this crusty scaley stuff on her feet, face and ears for almost 2 years now. She has been tested for all kinds of things and everything has come back normal. She has even had biopsys done on them. The only think that has cleared her up 100% is steroids and i refuse to keep her on those. I have used udder dream which seems to help some. The vet said that her immune system is normal and all her blood work is normal....so we put her on some zinc suppliment and i thought it was working but i am not sure as she is still getting this. it looks kind of like a sore but if i scrape it off it does not have a sore under it. I have also switched her dog food several times and do not feed her anything but high quallity dog food. And i have switched my detergents to no fragerance and that has not seemed to help either. Any other ideas???????? Kathy
