our cocker had it twice. the first time it attacked his RBC,we beat it with a transfusion.the 2nd time it attacked his platelets and we beat it with azathiopren & dexamethazone. these were also the meds he was on the 1st time also. good luck. be patient. be strong,the pet feeds off that. PRAY
