Be very aware of the drug Rmyadil.Vets prescribe it for arthritis and hip displacia and other joint related problems. When you read the very, very, small print on possible after effects you will be horrified. The drug was developed originally for human consumption, but due to the number of people who sued them for liver failure they took it off the human market and introduced it to the animal market.Reason is that they spent millions developing it and in the animal market where you can only sue for collaterel damages i.e the value of your animal the reckoned this was a safe bet.I personally lost two of my dogs in one year to this drug. Its a money maker for vets at over $1.oo per pill. Why should they not push it? |
