Please help! My 9 year old cat was recently attacked by some animal, not sure what.
She was rushed to the emergency vet. clinic and received 10 staples in a wound on one leg. They discovered then that she had two fractures in her other foot. They were going to operate and put pins in, but discovered she had a bad bacterial infection. She has been on antibiotics for a week, but the infection in her foot is not responding, in fact, it's spreading. They may have to remove the foot if they cannot get this under control soon. Has anyone ever heard of a similar situation? I am hoping to find a very strong antibiotic for her.
