I have been researching the benefits of anti-oxidents for both people and pets, and I learned that taking them on a regular basis has been known to reduce and even get rid of physical ailments. I noticed that most dog foods are now putting Vitamin E, C, and Selineum (sp) into their fourmla which are anti-oxidents. However I also read of the benefits of pine-bark, and grape seed and other free radical scavengers that are even more powerful than vitamin based anti-oxidents.
Please checkout this website called OPC Anti-oxident reference guide http://www.opc.cc it goes into more detail about the benefits for people and pets.
Good luck
