Is your dog the kind who seems to be hot a lot? For example, preferring to lay on cold surfaces and such? I have found that most dogs whose chi energy tends towards the element of fire do not do well on a diet based on chicken (a very hot, digestible protein). I personally know four such dogs (2 aussies with lupus, 1 border collie with lupus and 1 aussie with epilepsy) and a diet switch from chicken to beef relieved all symptoms. I recommend Nature's Variety Beef and Barley.
