I have a dalmation and he takes Bendryl for the itching. He is a large dalmation about 85 pounds and he takes 3 in the morning and 2 in the evening and it has almost stopped the itching and it does not effect his behavior at all. He is very active and alert. He has allergies and he was tested almost everything outside he is allergic too.
