Samson, a cream Maine Coon Cat, had his large intestine removed about three years ago and has had persistent difficulties with diarrhea. For a while we used Tylosin powder (avian antibiotic) & Immodium. Tried probiotics without success. Now using PetGuard Natural Digestive Enzyme Blend for Cats (Whole Foods). Feeding him combination of Dry Hills Prescription WD and Dry Eukanuba Lamb & Rice. Would appreciate any suggestions on diet or anything that would help his digestion. He is an indoor cat only and is very affectionate and healthy. I adopted (bought) him at a cat show when he was 6 months old and found that he was very sick after bringing him home. We were referred to a local veterinary specialty clinic where he received his surgery. Most cats gradually develop a more normal intestinal functioning, we were told. Samson has definitely improved, but has a long way to go. Thank you for any suggestions. Sue
