Response to Airy is...

"Hey, maybe you can help me. You have magic. Maybe you can teach me how to talk to her right, do things I ask her to do. Can you? Please? She already likes you."

Tamy bit her lip, not sure how to respond to what Dase was saying. She did feel a sort of familiarity toward this Airy, whatever Airy was, not as an individual but as an essence. Tamy often had feelings like these, and they only served to frustrate her. Although she felt them hanging close, just beyond the reaches of her conscious, these memories continued to escape her persistent grasp. For one so totally in control of her mental self, she couldn't fathom why she couldn't better recollect the more distant years of her past.

She was encouraged to try, however. She was delighted at being encouraged to exercise her sight, and although she recoiled at Dase's reference to "magic", she felt a slight thrill at this sign of his acceptance of her gift. Her grandmother had warned her of what would ensue if she ever shared this deepest part of herself with any one...and yet by trusting these people with her secret she had attained a new level of calm and confidence that was completely unfamiliar to her.

"It isn't magic, Dase," she clarified quietly, but couldn't contain the flicker of bright-eyed curiosity in her eyes as she pondered how Airy would react to Tamy's use of her sight.

Setting her plate to one side, she bit her lip thoughtfully for a moment, and then fell into the plane of her ulterior vision. She wasn't very good at clear readings without physical contact with the observed, but she could usually at least get a good, general idea. This train of thought reminded her of Odin. He hadn't been touching her when they had connected in that exciting, but frightening way. She had never metanother mind like her own, and the type of interaction that Odin had instigated had fulfilled her in some way she hadn't known she required.

At the same time, the mere thought of the...the Creature made her shudder. She felt a fierce pang of guilt at having not told the others what she believed she knew about him. How would they react? As Odin claimed, would it cause great damage in the future? She couldn't really know.

Tamy gave herself a solid mental shake, and refocused on what she was doing now. She adjusted her mind slightly, honing on the most subtle patterns around her - and she suddenly gave a small gasp. It was a subtle ripple, an almost indetectable shimmer, and yet at the same time the most beautiful thing she had seen in a long time.

Hello, Tamy said tentatively, wondering if whatever it was was in fact Airy, and whether or not the amazing piece of energy could understand or answer her.
