"If you are trying to ease my embarrassment, it is not working," Sai'a whispered back to Val but smiled at him through a veil of red hair anyway. She knew she shouldn't be flustered by the knowing expressions upon all her friends' faces but she just couldn't help it. Intimate ralationships with another were a perfectly normal occurence but they were still new to her. She didn't want people getting the wrong idea - yet.
Dase was asking Tamy for her help and Sai'a had to admit she was curious herself, and hopeful. If anybody could help him gain control of that elemental of his it would either by Tamy or Odin. And she didn't want Odin anywhere near that precious boy. She didn't have to wait long for her curiousity to be satiated as Tamy didn't take long to respond. Whatever she had done, it appeared to be working as Dase was looking at her gape-mouthed. Even Rhn's amulet began to glow. Sai'a brushed Val's hand and pointed to the ranger as he moved the stone about, testing. It obviously was having a reaction to whatever it was that Tamy was performing.
Airy felt a subtle tremor in her awareness and then it was as if someone had walked through a door, and into her world. She blinked at this vision that now stood before her, blinking back. For a moment, they stared in wondrous silence, neither quite believing what their eyes were seeing. People weren't supposed to wander about here. She'd never seen a human in this realm before but here was this girl. Not a girl in the flesh so to say, but the presence she was casting into this atmosphere was very, very real. Airy stared at her image, transfixed.
Then she spoke.
Airy nearly flickered, she was so surprised. Not that she could hear her, for anyone that "spoke" in this plane was capable of being heard but - she UNDERSTOOD her. She was actually hearing, and understanding, a human. Airy blinked. "Who are you?"
"I'm Tamy, a friend of Dase's. He asked me to come here."
"He did?" All at once, Airy was excited. Maybe Dase could come here too. How badly she wanted to set her eyes upon the spirit of the boy who had captivated her so. In the human realm, she didn't have the same vision that she did here. The animals and people that populated that world were only shadows she could sense but not truly see. Their souls were clear to her but their features were not. With Dase, she had more than just looked into his soul. She had connected to it. Now what he felt, she could feel, and vise versa. She had no idea what the child she had grown so attached to looked like.
Almost tentatively, as if afraid of being disappointed, she asked the girl before her, "Can he come here too? I want to see."
