Jeremy followed Alex's instructions, remaining as quiet as possible while they worked their magic on him. Alex's intrusion into his mind didn't bother him at all since he'd invited him to do that when he agreed to accept his knowledge of archery. Once the transference was over, Jeremy thanked Alex again before getting to his feet. He didn't feel any different, but supposed he would only notice the changes in his archery once he started practicing.
After glancing at Quinn, his eyes shifted down at Alex again. He had really looked forward to traveling, and possibly becoming good friends, with the youth. That was out of the question now that Alex had to return home to recuperate from his injuries.
"Maybe I'll come visit you one of these days, and demonstrate how far I got with the archery." He sighed before continuing. "I'm heading over to the inn now for a couple hours of sleep in a decent bed. Since you're about to leave, I'll say goodbye now."
Jeremy placed a hand on Alex's shoulder, squeezing it lightly. "Get well soon." He bid Quinn a farewell as well then hurried out of the rundown building. When he reached the inn, he went straight up to the room he'd rented earlier and sprawled out upon the large firm mattress. The Vicodin he took about an hour ago helped him fall into a deep sleep immediately.
OOC: I don't think anyone else will add to this since we're on a brief writing vacation. You can add another post with Alex teleporting home if you want, or we can "presume" he did that later when everyone starts writing regularly again. Let me know. It's been nice writing with you.
