And let me tell ya, it's no picnic bathing a cat. First of all, he isn't declawed so he was scraping the tub with his nails when I turned the water on...but, when the warm water hit him I must say I think he kind of liked it. He really liked the bathing part. I finally broke down and gave the cat a bath because he just won't clean himself...and he's 21 pounds. Yes, he is on a diet. Sheesh.
Putting a bath mat or those spongy shelf liners on the bottom of thetub or sink seems to help as it gives them something to sink their claws into. Seems they stress out by the slippery bottom.
