I don't know about Guinne Pigs specifically, but as a rule with rodents, males stink, and nothing ever makes the stink go away completely, females stink less, and the cleaner you keep their environment, the less that will stink. With most of these critters there is a distinctive aroma, so don't think you can live without new smells.

Guinea pigs do not stink. You are probably thinking about ferrets. They are terrific animals to have, they are easy to take care of and they are affectionate little wonders. Before you start with a guinea pig, I would recommend that you pick up a book about guinea pig care before you adopt a pig of your own. It will give you tips on what foods they need, what type of environment to keep them in, etc. You should be able to get one of these books at any pet store. Hope this helps!
All animals have scents. Some are more subtle than others. In addition, animal droppings smell, as does decaying peed-upon bedding material. Adding an animal to your life means adding new smells to your life. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but needs to be considered.
if you want you guinne pig and rabit to get along try taking some of the rabits sawdust (witch the rabit has used BUT NO POO) and intoduce it to the guinne pig so the guinne pig gets used to the smell and do it the other way round. then introduce them together they will reconise the smell and get allong fine!
Yes they do get along, i have two male guinea pigs, and they fight all the time, then i bought twoo dwarf/lops and they were both males all of my animals now share one big cage, and only once in a while do my guineas fight, they love each other because of the sweet bunnies.

yea they will get along very well in the same enviorment put make sure there loads of food beacuse the rabbit is bigger than a gueinea pig so make sure she dosent nick the food off of the gueniwa pig

yes they do stink, i feel very bad 4 u but not as bad for me becuz i am here with my mom hu is pulling up random stuff, we were looking for smells of birds and we got this!!!! have a nice day
no they do not stink but there cage will satrt to stink if u dont clean it out and bath ur guinea pig sometimes ur guniea pig dont like a bath put hot a nd cold toghther not a lot of water not to cold and not too hot
my boyfriend got me one for Christmas, its really cute brown and white, female. My guinea pig Buddy died after only 6 months of having her. She got a bad cold. If you get a guinea pig make sure you do not let him/her get sick ever.
My pet Dayze she likes to chew on her cage. I buy her chew togs but she refuses to use them. She doesn't deside to do it until I go to bed. Is she just demanding more attention or is it normal to chew on the cage?
Well that is really helpful. I am getting a guniea pig and i had one before but it died after 2 weeks! This guy at the pet store said that you have to put this vitaime c stuff in the water. Do you do that? i just want to know so i do not have to make the same mistake with my next guniea pig that i am going to get this week. Please give me some tips.
