Hey Todd!
Get a Dwarf Netherlands Rabbit! They are awesome and easy to take care of, but also have real personalities and are pretty loving if you give them attention. They only get as big as 1 and a half to 2 pounds. Just make sure you're getting the real thing because some petshops will tell you they're dwarfs but then you bring it home and it just keeps growin' to the full size deal. The real dwarfs' ears are only about 1 - 2 inches long and their bodies and heads are very round. They are the PERFECT apartment pet. And they are quiet, not messy, and they don't smell at all - everybody always comes into my apartment and says they're surprised he doesn't smell. They're like cats and they groom themselves - you don't have to ever bathe them. I think that's a pretty cool and low maintenance pet! They've got a lot of spunk too!
