Get a Chinchilla. They rock, they are as smart as cats, can be trained to use a literbox and are extremely clean animals. You dont bathe in water but in dust baths, and they ccan never be in teperatures above like 75 but other than that they are awesome.

chinchillas are cute, i'll give you that. but each one is over a hundred dollars and the people at petsmart strongly reccomend getting a second one since the first gets lonely. plus their cage has to be huge. that's an awfully big investment for such a small critter.
