Hey, ur getting a guinea pig? You have a good taste. Ok, guinea are frendly bet the do bite. Scratch them under the chin and on the lower back and they will purr a low grunting sound. Pet them like a cat, from head to bottom. What I do I save oatmeal boxes, toilet pater roles, and paper toil roles so there teeth dont grow out and have to get sergery. Get a pretty big cage and water bottle. Fill the food dish half way cuz they tend to spill it. Take it out the play and pet it and make sure u let it up on your shoulder to feel save and cozy. Dont put the cage anywhere near something u dont want eaten because they will eat anything. Dont give them and yogert treat when they r babies cuz they wont eat them trust I know. Dont yell at them when they start to squeek really loud cuz it wont do anything. Dont put the cage near a window cuz them intent to get really hot and might die. when u get the guinea pig from a pet place they will give u more details. Hope u have fun wit ur guinea pig. Usually guinea pigs bought at the pet store have something called mites. They make your guinea pig very itchy and they jump around a lot. Please take your guinea pig to the vet and they will give him a shot to kill the mites. These mites like under their skin and you can't see them.
well I took my rats to the vet cuz they had mites and they gave me like 5 doseges of revolution (for the rats) so I think it would be ok to give to my guinee pig, any ideas?

Well my dad thinks that hes getting bitten by flees,we have other animals (dogs and cats) but he is making me check up on it to see if my guinea pig can get flees, because i dont think he likes my guinea.. lol anyways... Can they get flees?
Hi, well make sure you give him/her baths they stink. My animal had to have alot of attention so make sure you feed then every day they drink alot. Give him/her clean water every day. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! They are very lovable!!!!
