A few weeks ago, my rats managed to open their cage and climb out. During the early hours of the morning, I heard my border collie crying. I got up, didn't see anny damage on my ratty, so I put him in the cage and went back to sleep. The next day I noticed puncture marks from a bite just under my rats neck and on the other side but above his little arm. Over the last few weeks it has gotten worst. First the hair fell out around the wound and now it is going septic. I have taken himi to a vet, but whatever they give me just makes it worst! Can you suggest anything?
