I would recommend a rat.Yes,a rat they are social and love to be held I have lots that if you wanted one or two(social)I would ship it to you as long as you don't have any reptiles(if you do I would have to have you fill out an application).If you don't like rodents or rats maybe get a reptile I would recommend a lizard over a snake.Lizards let you hold them more.If you want a lizard go for a bearded dragon,crested gecko,leopard gecko(please no sand they eat it I lost 3 from this all at the same time) or a blue tongued skink or a lazy lizard like that.Or maybe a frog.I think you would like a dumpy tree frog.:)let me know which one you choose or what you got.
