Hi, everyone, I had a Daisy Model 25 up for auction. The winning bidder then emailed me and asked if he could cancel his bid. I'm new to this site, and don't know much about bbguns. My auction is #2980, and the bidder said that the wooden stock had been added later, not at the factory. Can anyone help me with a definitive answer?
I've looked at several other Model 25's but can't make a call. Thanks in advance.
Hi Randi: Yes,the stock on your gun is homemade. Which does hurt the value of your gun. But the bidder should have been able to see that and bid accordingly. Send me a PM.

My husband is almost 62 years old. He has had the Daisy 25 since he was 8 or 9 years old. It has a wooden stock and forearm. It was purchased that way. It is not a homemade stock. It was manufactured in Plymouth , Mi.
Just thought I would let you know. He has talked to the Daisy co., about getting a part repaired. They told him if he sends it to them to insure highly. But they won't tell him what it is worth.
