I have in my possesion a .177 air rifle made in germany with the word `original` and mod 23 stamped on the barrel! I have owned this rifle for over 35 years and was given it by a neighbour who had it many years previous to me. does anyone know how old this rifle is?How much it would be worth? And finally can you still get parts for them?
Gary.

Original Model 23

'Original' was the mark used on German Diana airguns after WWII when Milbro started making near-copies in Scotland on tooling confiscated from the German Dianawerks.
Model 23 is at the lower end of the range, nice gun for a kid starting into shooting. some parts (e.g. seals) from later Mdl 23's should fit and still be available - what parts do you need?

If you're in the UK (a guess from your spelling & syntax?), try http://www.chambersgunmakers.co.uk

You may need to phone them as the owner recently passed away and they may not be doing e-mails.

If you're elsewhere let us know the location.
