This model has a plastic stock with the daisy logo on the side and the 'good sportsmanship pledge" on the butt. It has a spring loaded BB tube that screws into the mouth of the barrel. It has stenciling on both sides of the receiver with birds in flight. The model number, patent numbers, and reg. number are etched in the top of the receiver behind the adjustable site. The exterior of the metal is a bit rusty but the inside is clean and well greased. The plastic stock is in great shape. Everything works well and it still has some brass BB's in it. We found this gun while cleaning a friends garage. She didn't know she had it and thinks it may have belonged to her son who is now in his early to mid 40's. I believe it can be easily restored. I would like to date the gun and approximate it's value. I would also like to know if anyone has any advice on removing the rust and restoring the stenciling. Any help would be appreciated. |
