broken pin in firing mechanism

While screwing in the shot tube to a no.111 model 40 Red ryder daisy carbine which I had since 1949 I managed to break the plunger pin that strikes the bb I tried taking the gun apart to get to it but not only do I not know how to disassemble it but I will need a new part. Probably the whole mechanism. I would appreciate any help.
